Teleconsultation

Teleconsultation is a method that allows patients to consult with a therapist remotely using a computer, smartphone, or tablet equipped with a camera and microphone, and having a good internet connection.

Its main objectives are to provide medical or psychological care without leaving home, reduce disparities in access to healthcare, and combat the abandonment of care, among others.

Our goal is to ensure quick care for our patients. The shortest time to get an appointment is 48 hours. An initial appointment cannot be conducted as an emergency via teleconsultation.

The cost of a teleconsultation varies depending on the chosen therapist and their country of origin.

For example:

  • Psychiatrist in Switzerland: CHF 170 to CHF 250

  • Psychiatrist in France: 100€ to 200€

  • Psychologist in Switzerland: CHF 120 to CHF 200

  • Psychologist in France: 60€ to 150€

On the homepage, you can choose to be guided step by stepto the most suitable therapists for your needs, or discover all available therapists.

You can then view their profiles and click on 'Book an appointment' with the therapist of your choice. Before your first teleconsultation, we recommend watching this animation.

A teleconsultation can last up to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

To properly prepare for a teleconsultation, we recommend watching this animation. It is also available on the homepage as well as in the summary of your appointments.

Connection issues can arise at any time if your connection is unstable. Before your first teleconsultation, we recommend watching this animation to give yourself the best chance of having a quality consultation. Despite these precautions, in case of a connection issue, we recommend postponing the teleconsultation, in agreement with your therapist.

In case of an issue, you can cancel your appointment in the 'My Appointments' tab of your profile. Select the relevant consultation in the right-hand column and then click on 'Cancel this appointment' at the bottom of the summary. If the conditions are met, your consultation will be refunded. For any missed appointment that is not excused at least 24 hours in advance , the full cost of the non-cancelled consultation is due.

It is the patient's responsibility to schedule their appointments.

At the end of each consultation, you can click on the 'Book another appointment' button and schedule your next session with the same therapist.

It is also possible, through the 'My Appointments' tab in your profile, to select a past appointment with your therapist and click on the 'Book another appointment' button.

If you wish to make an appointment with another therapist, go to the homepage and perform a new search. Other therapists will be suggested based on the criteria you select. We recommend discussing this beforehand with your therapist.

The times you select correspond to your own time zone. Our platform ensures they match the therapists' availability. This is why you must rebook the appointment yourself to avoid time zone errors (e.g., daylight saving time, etc.).

A psychiatrist can prescribe all medications that are not narcotics during a teleconsultation. Narcotics require a special prescription, which is not available remotely.

Example of a narcotic:
Ritalin, used in children and some adults as part of treatment for attention deficit disorder.

Prescriptions are made according to the regulations and availability of medications in the psychiatrist's country of practice. It is the patient's responsibility to obtain them, either from an international pharmacy or through a local doctor in case of major difficulties. You will be able to download the prescription in the 'Documents' tab of your profile.

Prescriptions can be made in the official languages of the countries where the therapists are located, such as French, Italian, or German in Switzerland, French in France, etc.

Your data is stored and processed in a secure environment in Switzerland. You will find more information on this in the Terms and Conditions, which you must read and accept before your first teleconsultation.

As much as possible, stay online for a few minutes to give the therapist, who may have had an emergency to attend to, time to reconnect with you. If not, disconnect, and the therapist will contact you again. Of course, your credit card will not be charged, and the amount will be released.
